| The substance of our
lives still continues. The quality of this walk persists within the persons of those who
are descendants of elders who dared to follow Him. The light still shines .Our
neighborhoods have changed with the tides of culture. More doors are now open; more paths
are unfolded before us. And down each path there appears the fruits of the faith of our
fore parents, which attests that the The residual effects of rambling lives now befall us. Criminal ways are normative.
Illegality is considered a legitimate option in the world. Promiscuity is now prevalent,
not behind closed doors. Yet in the midst of all this horror, in spite of all this terror,
the darkness of the forces of death has not quenched even the dim shinning lamp that those
who love the LORD lift up! I am convinced that there is not pot at the end of the rainbow. I am certain that
no silver lining hides behind the clouds. I am sure that the scales of justice are not
always balanced in our lifetime. However, I am assured that on the dimmest day of the
year, in spite of the thickest clouds that collide, one flicker of a spark is all that is
